As middle school students, we should learn some knowledge about safety. Firstly, we should always obey the traffic rules. When we go across the road, we must wait for the green light. When we go to school or go home by bike, we should go along the right side and should not ride at a high speed. Secondly, in order to avoid fire in our dormitory, we should not use any electric device without permission. Thirdly, we should not climb the fence of the school in case we might hurt ourselves. 

It is high time that we should be aware of the importance of self-protection. And only with a good sense of self-protection can we live a safe and happy life.

Nowadays, cheating in exams is popular among some students. There are various reasons for this. Some students are lazy and don’t work hard at their lessons. Some want to get higher marks so that they can be praised or even admired. Others cheat in order to win a scholarship or enter a key school. 

However, this phenomenon will have a very bad effect on middle school students’ habit of study. Those who usually cheat in exams will never treat study seriously again because they believe they will always get good marks without working hard. Those who never cheat in exams will consider it’s unfair for them, thinking study hard is no more necessary. 

In order to get rid of the bad effects, the school authority should take effective measures to let the students know how important honesty is. Meanwhile, a strict discipline for exams should be carrie d out. Whoever cheats should be severely punished.
