偶像

My idols are those who have made great contributions to the world. Take Edison as an examples. He invented a lot of things, without which we can imagine how life were like now. Another example is that the three 42-year-old Chinese astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng orbited the earth for three days in Shenzhou VII and fulfilled its most ambitious and risky task despite many difficulties, even dangers.  

However, most of my classes regard celebrities like Yao Ming and Phelpus as their idols. Some of them even worship their stars or idols by imitating whatever stars do, including their clothes, hair styles and hobbies. So addicted are they to star-worshipping that they don’t know what to do and spoil their study. 

In my opinion, the real heroes are those who are making the most contributions to our society, such as teachers, doctors and scientists, from whom we young students should learn. Our parents are also admired for their selfless love to you. So we should study hard and become useful people in the future as a reward for our parents’ taking great pains to bring us up.

时尚 

As far as I know，many students are extremely crazy about fashions. They are familiar with what is in at the moment. Influenced by film stars，some are even willing to spend lots of money and time making themselves fashionable.  In my opinion，following fashions can add excitement to our boring life. But too much attention paid to them will affect our study and even future development. What's more，we can enlarge the content of fashions. For example，the positive spirits of strong-minded people can be in fashion as well. Encouraged by those spirits，we can overcome difficulties in our life and study. In conclusion，we should have a cool head，trying to seek fashions that are positive and make full use of their advantages. Don't go after fashions blindly.
