In my opinion, the book I like most is Five Thousand Years of China.

First, I learn Chinese history from the book. I think all those history stories should be known by Chinese. History has its own great value. It provides an insight into human nature both individually and collectively. It is worth of reading.

Secondly, we can view the mistakes of the past and try to avoid them in the present. And then we can improve our ability to solve all kinds of programs in our life.

Reading this book helps us to understand more things, draw lessons form it for the future as well as today, because history is the philosophy drawn form the experience.
