Today's English usage is….“her and she.”When using pronouns, you should know the difference between possessive pronouns and identifying pronouns.

In this case, "her" is a possessive pronoun showing ownership and "she" is an identifying pronoun showing who does or who is.

For example, when talking about a woman's family, you would say… "her family…" not "she family.”“Her family is going on vacation.”The woman's family then belongs to her. This is a possessive pronoun use.

In another example, you would not say "her does… " you would say… "she does..."."She does more work than other people.”Who does more work?  She does, identifying who does.

And you can put them together in a sentence for better meaning, when you are talking about the woman and the woman's friends. "She would go the extra mile for her friends.”The times to normally use "she" or "her" are normally clear… but it can sometimes be confusing. Try to keep your sentences short and simple… and you'll have no problem.
