Today's English phrase is… "hang out." The phrase"hang out"is used to mean when someone casually spends time with their friends or family.

You can"hang out" at a park, a coffee shop, a restaurant… or anywhere to relax or have a good time. For example…

“My friends like to hang out at the café, drinking coffee and talking about school. "

Usually, when you"hang out", it implies you are not in a hurry and you have plenty of time to spend.  It can also mean that you want to do nothing for a given amount of time.

Other examples include:

“I'm free this Saturday. Would you like to go to the park and hang out with me?” “He's a busy man. He doesn't hang out with us anymore.”  "Hang out" is a casual phrase and should not be used in a normal business situation.
