Most of us know our zodiac sign, and its importance in understanding our personalities and destiny.

Your rising sign refers to which of the 12 zodiac signs were 'rising' on the Eastern horizon of the world at the time of your birth.

These signs change every two hours. This is one of the many reasons people born only hours apart can appear so very different — they may share star signs, but their rising signs won't be the same.
